It was an amazing trip! I loved the East Coast, my first time there. I didnt want to come back. I went to visit my brother and his wife.... he is stationed in Virginia for the Navy. I had a killer time! Enjoy the pics!

Gone Fishin'

Went fishing on Monday...... It was a beautiful evening to be in the mountains, not too hot, not too cold......just right!! The lake is only about 20 minutes from my parents home. The fish were jumping and biting like crazy!! Here are a couple pics I snapped from my fishing chair and from the truck.

Final countdown....

3 1/2 Days and I am finally off on my San Diego vacation. I am so excited!! I cant even tell you how many times I have had to change the dates, due to work schedules and such! Its so close I can finally taste it!! This picture was taken on my last trip to Sunny San Diego!! I hope to have more pics up after my trip!

shocked and disgusted.......

I was just reading some posts on the FACEBOOK group page for the 1 MILLION Strong FOR the Arizona Immigration Law SB1070. I am NOT a member of this group, I am a member of the group AGAINST the law. There really are some nasty, ignorant, evil people out there!! I was disgusted by the ignorance from these people. Commenting on photos and videos of "illegal immigrants" as cock roaches, little ants (inhabiting everywhere) wishing it was legal to stop and open fire on them all. There page was like an open forum to be cruel, racist and ignorant. I am so upset by their comments and beliefs.....

Sure, everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions. But, it seems that this page on facebook is a way for people to feel okay about expressing their racist thoughts. My stomach hurts because it upset me so much.

Ewwww Gross!

I know this is gross but I thought I would share my drama for the moment. I have a dead mouse in my car!! Its so gross, I cant find it anywhere. I have cleaned, vacuumed, sprayed, searched the car high and low!! No luck! Its one of the worst smells I have ever encountered. From my research on the WEB, I have found that this happens to many people, makes me feel a little better about this situation!! Im a little embarrassed to talk about it! I talked to the mechanic yesterday and he told me to spray lysol in the vents and to blow them on high! That's my goal today. My fear, if I open the vents and turn the blower on high. I'm gonna have something nasty fly out at me.....maybe maggots!! uggggh! So GROSS!!!! Well I hope the lysol helps!!

Spring Time Cocktail!

Perfect for a springtime cocktail in the evening!! Add some chips and salsa and you have a party!!!






1 cup Ice
1 1/2 oz Tequila
1/2 oz Triple Sec
1/2 oz Lime Juice
3 oz Sour Mix
Lime Wedge
Salt

1. Pour the ingredients into blender.
2. Blend until smooth.
3. Salt the rim of glass (if desired).
4. Pour into glass.
4. Garnish with a lovely lime wedge.

First Blog!!!

Sooooooo, this is my first blog EVER!!!!!!!!!!

Today is kind of a blah day, I'm sitting here in the office with the heater on high and about to enjoy a nice cup of coffee. Yesterday the sun was shining, the birds were chirping! I even had my door to the office open all day, enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. Today I woke up to snow and gloomy skies! Gah!! I guess that is Colorado weather for you! Eventually it will be summer and I will be complaining of 90 degree weather. So, I will enjoy this spring while I have it.

Last night I went to my cousin Domnic's 4th birthday party! I cant believe how time flies and these little ones grow so fast!! Man, Im getting old!! This was a pizza and Spiderman party!! Domnic was dressed in his Spiderman costume! So cute! That lil guy sure does love Spiderman! He even had green juice for all the kids and Green Goblin to enjoy! Domnic made out like a bandit with all his Spiderman gear including a sweet Spiderman bike!! The Spiderman cake was amazing, Brenna made it and it looked delicious, I didnt have a piece but I sure wanted one ;). It was good to see all the lil ones having a good time and enjoying their time with cousins! The only thing that could have made this party better...... My nieces Hailey and Ayva!! I wish they could have been there, I sure do miss them!! I hope to see them very soon!!
